Personal Statement

Hi Coach,

Here are some things about me.

I am currently a Junior at Oconomowoc High School.

This past year, I was part of a team that made it to the sectional finals and lost by a walk off to almost make it to state for the second year in a row. So, this year the team and I are going to have another great opportunity to get back to state.

Off the field, I am always pushing myself to workout everyday on baseball specific training at the BRX  Performance Training facility. I also work on my catching, infielding, and hitting with former professional players and coaches. I've also continued to work on my approach and the mental side of the game.  I look to make myself improve one percent each day, if it's in the gym or the classroom.  If I do that, I know I will be reaching my goals.

My school work  is most important to me.  I need good grades to go to college and further my education.  I want to pursue exercise science and psychology. I'd also like to pursue my dream of playing college baseball and continue to play the game that I love.  I feel that I could make an immediate impact and help a team succeed.  At the end of the day, I want to be that player because of my drive for the game and my commitment in the classroom.

I know by my work ethic and respect for all of the challenges I've had all my life and look forward to the many challenges in my future.  I know I can be a valuable team player and student to your team and university!

Thank you for your consideration,

Stevie Diderrich Jr.
