Ben Wilkins '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ben Wilkins, my main priorities in my life are my faith, my schoolwork, and my family, but baseball is my passion. Everything I do is to make me a better baseball player, whether it be in the classroom, weight room, or on the field. I train in the off season, but no matter how good i get I will ALWAYS strive to become better. I don't focus on becoming better than others around me, I strive to be better than my own best self. Baseball is always on my mind, and one of my biggest dreams is to play college baseball. I would prefer to play at the division 1 level, but so does every other kid. I am willing to explore all of my opportunities and options. I am going to work as hard as I can to become a college level athlete. When I make it to the college level, it will be just the beginning. During college, I will push myself past my own personal limits to become the best student, baseball player, and person that I can. I will strive to be the team's best leader and produce on the field while setting good examples off the field through good moral character and sound judgment. To best describe me, I'm a kid that believes he has a calling to do great things in this sport and in life. Baseball is my passion. I love this game, and I enjoy every second of it. I want to play at the highest level of competition possible and make a big impact on my team. I won't stop working until I reach my goals, and when I do, I will push myself even harder to go further as a baseball player, as a student, and as a man of God.
