Personal Statement

My name is Peyton Stanford and I am a junior from Mequon, Wisconsin. Since I can remember, baseball has been what I've wanted to do. First it was looking forward to Little League, then traveling teams, then high school, and now college. Playing college baseball has always been in my plan and nothing would be more satisfying than completing that dream in any region of the country. Immediately competing for playing time would be ideal, however waiting one year for that opportunity wouldn?t bother me at all. As far as academics go, whether it's my parents or the school I currently attend, I have been brought up knowing that academics are a priority. Therefore, I am seeking schools with strong academics and wide range of majors. I, however, am leaning towards either a business- or architecture-related major at this point.
