Jared Nelson '15 Recruiting Profile

My goal has always been to play college baseball at the highest level possible while earning my degree at a top academic university.  I am a hardworking, dedicated, driven and focused individual just like many other student-athletes but the one area that separates me from other players is the passion and love I have for the game of baseball.  Having the opportunity to play baseball is a privilege so I plan to make every minute count and take nothing for granite.

If I'm not playing the game, I'm working with young athletes because I feel it's important to give back as well as being a good role model. I pride myself on being a leader and role model on and off field.  If you are in the need of a fundamentally sound catcher with a strong bat that will give you 100+% at all times then I'm your guy.
