2015: I am currently starting at DH with a hot bat. My unofficial stats for this year are: .417 BA, 5 RBIs, 2 BB and 1 SB. OBP is .560.
2014: My official pitching stats summary for 2014 is: 18 IP, ERA 1.94, WHIP 1.5, 1-0, 1S, (80 AB, 7 BB, 1 HBP, 0 WP, BAA .278, 100 Balls, 167 Strikes) If there was an award for "pitcher who pounds the strike zone" I would win it. The season is over, so I will be focusing on conditioning throughout the off season. My goal is to get my velocity over 80-82 mph. I am at 80 mph as of this spring, 2015.
In the offseason, I focused on conditioning for baseball, arm care, a different curve and improved on my change up. In January of 2015 I attended an excellent camp held by Ron Wolforth, (Texas Baseball Ranch) and hosted by Fastball USA in Schaumburg IL. I really enjoyed the camp, had a lot of fun and most important improved on my mechanical delivery which eliminated ANY arm pain after pitching. I scored very high on his evaluation (a 10 on deceleration). My upper half, was quite solid. The lower half (evaluation done by Coach Flint Wallace) pointed out some areas where I can use some work. So I have focused on their feedback since that camp. During the "Turn and Burn" drill, my velocity was 84 mph. Per Coach Wolforth, he estimates I would have been about 79-80 on the mound.
My velocity is definitely increased this year (2015 season) however I have yet to have an official gun measurement.
My hope is to play at a junior college or DIII school with a competitive baseball program. I look forward to traveling throughout the U.S. playing baseball and competing at the collegiate level. I am wide open as to where I might play. I am concentrating on the upper mid-west but have found several schools of interest through out the country.
I am very interested in Welding, Chemistry, and Business Management and of course Chinese as a minor. In school, my strongest course is usually math and chemistry.
I may attend a two year community college for welding and generals, and then transfer to a 4 year University or College.
