Personal Statement

My name is Christian McKelvey, I am a 17 year old student athlete. I go to Germantown High School in Germantown, Wisconsin. I love the game of baseball and am determined to play College baseball or further. I will do anything to get there. I love to play the game of baseball. I have a 2.4 GPA which I understand I need to improve on, and which I have made changes on. I realize in order to play in college I need to have a much better GPA. This year, my junior year, I have started to apply myself and become a much better student. My GPA will only get better from here on out. I am 5'9 150lbs. I play middle infield for the Rawlings Hitters Baseball Academy in southeastern Wisconsin. I am very coachable and I like to learn to be better and improve and that is why I have had success so far in baseball in my life.

Elite Baseball Tournaments and the coaching staff at Valparaiso University would like to welcome you to their 15U/16U College Exposure Tournament. This will be a 4 game guarantee, weather permitting, in pool play format, with the first 24 teams registered and deposit paid will be guaranteed 1 game at Valparaiso University's Emory G. Bauer Field (weather permitting). Any team that has a schedule request must submit that no later than 2 months prior to the event. All requests will be considered but no guarantees on accomodation. Baseballs will be provided by Elite Baseball Tournaments. Teams will not be guaranteed a game on the college field until full payment is received. This is being done as too many teams register and do not attend.This tournament will be promoted to over 90 College Coaches throughout the Midwest. All teams will be required to submit a roster to the tournament director 2 weeks prior to the tournament.

The PG Super25 15U Central Regional will be held in Des Moines, IA, May 3-4, 2014. This tournament is for teams eligible to play in the 15u age division for the 2013-2014 National Championship season and players must meet the age limit criteria. Regional tournaments provide a unique opportunity for teams to advance directly to the PG Super25 National Championship. Only teams from the designated region or the bordering regions are eligible to participate.

Training consists of fielding practice and hitting practice, each 4 days a week. pitching practice, 2 times a week. All training consists of 1 1/2 hour each. Workouts are 5-6 days a week, legs and upper body are every other day. legs one day, upper body/arms the next. A little bit of core work is everyday
