Dan Jansen '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1" tall 200 lb Senior catcher at Appleton West High School in Appleton Wisconsin. Appleton West competes in the FVA conference, which is considered the toughest Div.1 conference in the State of Wisconsin. The School has won 7 State titles in baseball, the most in state history. I have been the starting catcher since my freshman year and have been FVA All-Conference all three years. This year, as a Junior, I led the Conference in Ba (.535) Hr (4) Slg. Pct (.934) Obp (.668) and BB (19--10 int.) and was named 1st Team All- FVA Conference ,1st Team All -District and 1st Team All-State. I play every pitch, every inning and every game like it will be my last one. Also work hard in the off season to get ready for the next baseball season. My plan is to get an education in business management and to play baseball in college at the highest possible level. I am open to explore any area of the country at any division level. I believe that I can contribute to a baseball program right away as a freshmen and will work hard at being a leader and doing all the things that I can to contribute to the programs success. Getting a degree in business is my ultimate goal and playing baseball while at school is all that I can hope for. Danny Jansen
