September 2013Personal Statement
My dream is to play professional baseball. I have been a catcher and a pitcher since I was able to hold a baseball, and I live and breathe baseball. In addition to baseball, I love to fish and hunt. However, I believe that wildlife gaming regulations are meant to be upheld so that our wildlife can be protected and hunting and fishing can be enjoyed appropriately. That is why I am interested in studying to become a fish and wildlife officer. I believe my love of fishing and hunting, but my appreciation for appropriate use will be important to going far in that career. I am hopeful that baseball can help me to access my college pathway by offering me a chance to afford that opportunity. It would be a dream for me to play baseball after high school and be able to further my education at the same time!
