Work. Focus. Adaptability. Leadership. These are the traits that best exemplify a student athlete. My work ethic comes from an internal drive to succeed in school and sports plus time spent helping my parents run their business. The hard work is enhanced with a focus on doing what is important not merely staying busy. Focusing on how to improve strength, speed, agility, communication skills, working memory, organization skills, study habits, and leadership skills help me move closer to big goals. I am open to new ideas and better ways to accomplish an objective, in a variety of settings. Whether it is a new group in class or a new team on the field, I find myself working to make the best of every situation and help others perform at a top level to achieve team goals. I strive to be a great teammate and maintain a very high set of personal expectations which leads to improved outcomes over time. This growth mindset coupled with an eye on excellence often catalyzes those around me helping to keep group objectives in focus. I fully expect to continue to improve in the latter half of my high school career into college and in life beyond college.
