Ryan Devine '17 Recruiting Profile

I have enjoyed playing sports for as long as I can remember. My parents introduced me to many sports at a young age - baseball, football, basketball, and golf. Baseball quickly became my favorite sport, but I continued to compete and play the other sports as well. I have learned valuable lessons from each sport and every coach. Today as a rising junior I still play Varsity Basketball and Varsity Baseball. I'm very competitive and a good teammate. I take a positive attitude to every practice and game and work on my weaknesses. Baseball has become my passion that I want to pursue as long as I can continue to compete. My goal is to play in college. I take my grades very seriously as well because this will help me with my chances of playing baseball at the next level. I am doing everything possible today to prepare myself for the future. I believe baseball will help me well beyond college, and I will be able to take the things I have learned from the game to be successful in life.
