Luke Easter '16 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has been my passion for as long as I can remember and I am determined to play at the next level.  I am constantly working on every level of my game; hitting, fielding and conditioning.  I am a candidate that you can count on to give you a 110% from day one.  My high school and travel coaches will tell you that I am very coachable.  This year, as a Junior, I was the starting left fielder.  I ended the season with a .338 average and led the team in RBI's with 18.  We made it to both the Conference and Regional playoffs.  As a result of this season's performance, I was named a Second Team All Conference Outfielder.

I lettered in baseball since 2014 as a sophomore and I have also lettered in football since freshman year as a wide receiver.  I am a contact hitter with gap power, I consistently use the whole field and I am a very good base runner.  I have been told my hand-eye coordination is amazing.

Currently I am on track with my academics with a 3.40 GPA (4.0 scale).  I have taken the SATs in May and scored a 1350.  I plan on taking them again in October.  I plan to major in sports management and marketing and hope to make my career in the sports field.  Since it's my passion, I would also love to make it my career!

Off the field, I volunteer with a local food bank in my community and I am an altar server at my church.  I come from a great family who has instilled great morals and values in me.  I work constantly at improving my game and I want more than anything to place at the next level!!
