Jacob Ochoa '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob "Jake" Ochoa, I am 5 ft. 7 inches tall and weigh 170 pounds.  As a freshman I ran a 7.14 in the sixty yard dash.  I play for Reicher Catholic High School Varsity Team.  I started on the Varsity Team as a freshman at LF and SB.  I have had two years of experience on the Varsity Team, with both years of experience on the starting line-up.

What I can offer to any team, is a player with the heart, drive and desire to be the best I can possibly be and strive to win.  I am a very disciplined and hard working player.  I work hard during practices and give my all on the field at every game.  I also enjoy encouraging my teammates during the games to keep the drive and momentum going.  I have always dreamed of playing college baseball since I was in Little League.  I want to earn the experience of being a part of a college baseball team, where I can make a difference as a team member as well as enjoy the game.

I want to excel in the sport of baseball where I can play at the highest level of competition.  I am devoted to continuous improvement, self-discipline and have learned to be a utility player where I be an effective team member at various positions.  My goal is to make an impact on any team, at any level, that I am selected to be on, no matter where or who that team may be.  I just want the opportunity to show what I can offer to a college level team.
