Hi Coach, my name is Decatur Aycock and I want to thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I am currently 17, 6’1” and 175 lbs. I am in my Senior year in high school and currently I am playing fall ball before HS season starts.
My sophomore year was a big step up in my game, I went from sitting the bench on varsity for more than half the season to starting at 2nd base and eventually getting the lead off against some of the the best teams in our district. That was a big change from my freshman year, playing on both the freshman team and JV starting every pitch at shortstop and pitching regularly. I worked hard during the summer and earned the start at 2nd base again this past year and continued to bat in the top of the order. I am used as a utility player for both select and HS teams.
My long term goal is to be a Physical Therapist like my parents. My plan for college is to be active player while working toward that goal at whatever school best fits that plan.
