To put it simply, baseball is my passion. I want to play the game until I am dragged off the field. Then, when I no longer can play, I want to be a manager. My life goal is to be the general manager of a major league team after I am through playing. I plan on achieving this goal through graduating college and constantly learning more about the game through playing and spectating. I always learn something new when I play for my select coaches, Dennis Carter and Brian Williams, who always have insight for every situation in the game due to their years in pro ball. I enjoy watching the Houston Astros on a daily basis and I like to learn from the decisions Bo Porter and other managers make in late inning games to help their team win. I truly believe that through knowledge and hard work, one can be successful in the game of baseball. Iam presently a junior in high school. My primary position is pitcher. In addition,I have good hands at first base and have a high on base percentage. I am an all field singles/doubles hitter, I know that I may not get to do this if I am a pitcher only and I am OK with that. I take pride in being situationally aware and having a plan when I play the game. I am an Eagle Scout and I encompass all the character traits that come with being one. I work hard to maintain a 4+ GPA, while carrying two AP and two PreAP courses. On the mound, I pitch for first pitch strikes and use my arsenal of curve, change-up and fastball to finish the batter off. I have a working slider in progress.
