My name is Xavier Jacobs, a gifted and talented student athlete. I am extremely mature for my age; the youngest of 3 boys, my brothers challenged me at a very early age to compete both academically and athletically with much older age groups. I come from a long line of athletes on both sides of my family. A multi-sport athlete, my dedication is baseball and basketball.
Born into a military family, I stand out from others as my upbringing and strong faith has enabled me to persevere and know that anything is possible. I thrive in diversity and fear no challenge. The youngest son in a multi-cultural family and attending one of the top academic College Prep School in the U.S., I maintain a 3.9-4.0 GPA while playing multi-sports, volunteering in the community while earning the Short Stop and RHP position for my Highschool team and the MLB UYA RBI Program. I am a leader on and off the field.

- USA Baseball is the national governing body for the sport of baseball in the United States and is a member of the United States Olympic Committee and the World Baseball Softball Confederation. The organization selects and trains the World Baseball Classic, Premier12 and Pan Am teams (and all other USA Baseball Professional Teams); the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team; the USA Baseball 18U, 15U and 12U National Teams; and the USA Baseball Women's National Team, all of which participate in various international competitions each year. The organization is responsible for the continued proliferation and health of the sport, and leads a number of amateur initiatives including PLAYBALL and Pitch Smart. - The POWER SHOWCASE has announced that Short Stop/Center Fielder, Xavier Jacobs, Baytown, TX (Barbers Hill ISD) has been named to the POWER SHOWCASE NATIONAL Future Stars Team. Each player is personally selected by the POWER SHOWCASE based on their abilities, power, scout references, high school and showcase tournament performance. Xavier will proudly represent Texas during the prestigious Future Stars Home Run Derby that will feature the top young power hitting prospects from around the country and the West during the Future Stars All-American Game. The game highlights the three-day, all-encompassing educational experience staffed by some of the very best players and coaches, including a MLB Scout Day in front of all thirty organizations, a welcome dinner/ jersey presentation ceremony, the home run derby itself, and two mental strength sessions.
