Ethan Coble '17 Recruiting Profile

I'm extremely dedicated to anything I put my mind to. I am currently ranked #1 in my class and I will graduate as valedictorian of my 2017 senior class.  I am a right handed pitcher and valid first baseman, I'm currently 6'3 and weigh 185 pounds, with lots of growing to do.  My fastball currently tops out at 86 miles per hour but is going to increase significantly over the next year.  I want to play college baseball and I know the work it will take to get there.  I was not gifted with a developed body like many of my counterparts who entered high school, my father was a later bloomer and reached 6'4, 255 lbs at 20, so with lots of hard work and hitting the weights daily I'm hopeful to be close to that by graduation.   In addition to my fastball I have a nasty 12-6 late breaking curveball.  I have a change up that tops out around 74 miles per hour, and my 2 seam fastball tails In on a right handed batter and drops slightly.  All my coaches say I have what it takes to play at the next level in college, but I want to go to a school where I can have a great baseball experience and where my hard work and positive attitude can add to the team atmosphere. I also want a school where I can excel academically like I have in High School and my past track record shows, I know the hard work it takes to maintain good grades and play sports, private lessons then working on the farm and late hours studying. Wherever I end up I can assure my coaching staff that I will always be working hard to get better and trying to achieve maximum results.
