Austin Ray '12 Recruiting Profile

 My name is Austin Ray, I am 6 ft. 0 inches, weigh 161 pounds, and run a 7.0 in the 60 yard dash. I play for the A&M Consolidated High School Varsity team. I started on the varsity team as a junior as a relief pitcher and outfielder. My team and I had a district record of 13-1. We also made it to the Quarter Final  round of the playoffs.

I have two years of experience on a varsity team, with two years of experience on the starting varsity team. Within my first year on the varsity I was the top relief pitcher with 3 saves and 1 win compiling a 1.25 ERA.

What I can offer to any team is a player with the drive to be the best I can possibly be. I am a very hard working player, working hard at practice, and giving it all on the field. I have always dreamed of playing college baseball, to become a great role model to all my peers and to make my parents proud.  I have always been told I was too little to be able to succeed, but I continue to work hard and prove the doubters wrong.

I want to play as a freshman in college, but I also want to play in the highest competition level, so I am devoted on bettering myself to get where I want  to be. My goal is to make an impact on any team I am selected to play for. All I am asking for is a chance to show what I can do.
