Rj Betancourt '16 Recruiting Profile

My name Rene Betancourt, Jr., but I go by "Rj".  Everyone has a passion, dream, and goal. Growing up I never knew what it was like to play with my own age group. I was always pushing myself to a more elite level to better myself in my future outcomes. Playing baseball has been an everyday factor in my life ever since I was able to run and hold a bat. Playing college baseball is my passion, dream, and goal that I have worked long and hard for since day one. I was not only practicing one position because I knew I was capable of doing anything I worked hard for and dedicated myself to. I am effectively known to be a utility player in every team I played in. I have greatly enjoyed this sport throughout my life. I may not visibly be the strongest and fastest athlete, but I will never stop playing and working hard to my best ability to be the best I can be.
