Zachary Lenns '10 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was young the game of baseball has been my passion. Putting hard work into everything I do has made me a leader for my team throughout the years. Given the title captain in many of my athletic teams. Whatever the coach asks I am always willing to give up time to get better, or do something other players are not willing to do. Since the 9th grade I knew I wanted to play college baseball and now I know I have the ability to play at the next level. Any place on the eastern side of the country is fine with me to attend college.I am looking for a generally larger school that has an opportunity to play against very good teams. I plan to major in business or architecture and become a successful young man. I hope to make an impact on my team the first year no matter where I am. I am a six foot, 185 pound catcher who can protect the plate, keep runners on track, while hitting for power and a high average. On the bases or in the outfield I use my speed to my advantage in being aggressive in every aspect. I have received numerous awards for my abilities in baseball including: All-Region, All-State, All-Area, and an invitation to the North-South All Star Game. This year my football team won the SCISSA 2-A state championship which I will remember for the rest of my life. I was their lead wide receiver earning many awards for the season. Playing for any team would be a dream come true. I believe my coachable attitude and hard working ethic will help any team become closer and I can help them athletically and morally.
