zach andress '15 Recruiting Profile

I'm a 17 year old baseball player at Berwick Area High School. I am 5'11.5" and weigh 175 lbs. On the baseball field I am our high school's starting right fielder, I am also in the regular pitching rotation and am confident in pretty much any position with maybe the exception of 3rd base. My coaches have referred to me as a versatile player and have been able to utilize me in many different positions. My bat has also been pretty solid and I am expecting to hit in the top three on my team this season. I think I am very coachable, I enjoy learning from my coaches in any sport I am playing and I respect my coaches opinion about where they feel I fit best on the field. I am open minded to attending a college anywhere in the United States. I would like to go to a school with architecture, but one that has a competitive baseball program too. I do very well in the classroom with a grade point average of 3.9, I am a distinguished honors student, member of NHS and take dual enrollment courses at my local college.  I believe that I would be a positive asset to any baseball team because I am a team player, a very hard worker and I always give my best effort on and off the field. It's been my dream, and would be a blessing, to be able to continue to do what I love at the next level. I am also a starting linebacker on my high school football team. I work out in the weight room with my team daily when I'm not on the baseball field, and I work out with a personal trainer at our local gym as well. I am a leader on my teams and I try to lead by example.
