My name is Sean Little and I am a 2017 2nd baseman from Crescent Valley High School in Corvallis, Oregon. Baseball has had a major impact on my life because I have been exposed to it ever since I was a young child. Growing up, I was involved in a variety of sports; however, baseball has always been a passion of mine. It's my goal to compete at the next level at a college that will help me develop as a player and provide me with an education to succeed in the future.
Throughout my life, academics have always come first. I work hard in the classroom and use my time effectively in order to balance sporting events and school work. I challenge myself by taking honors and AP classes and have managed to do well in them which is represented by my cumulative GPA of 3.92.
As a player, I have a strong work ethic and I strive to become the best player I can be. Also, I am very coachable and I listen to any advice given to me by coaches. My quickness and explosiveness are my strongest attributes. I run a 6.90-second 60-yard dash, a 7.78-second L-Drill, and I stole 19 bases as a junior. My strength and power are aspects of my game that I plan to improve during the off-season by working out and training more.
I am open to various opportunities that could possibly be presented to me. Ultimately, I hope to find a college that is a good fit for me, athletically and academically, where I can grow as a person and a baseball player.
