Zachary Koroneos '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Zachary Koroneos and I live in Toronto, Ontario, (Canada). I currently attend Senator O'Connor College School. I am a 6' 2", 190lb senior on the school Varsity team. I also play for the West Toronto Wildcats for the Ontario Baseball Association. We compete in a several U.S. tournaments each season.  I play baseball during the spring and summer but work throughout the fall and winter months on mechanics (i.e in the cage, on the tee, drills, and a lot of other indoor training). I also workout regularly (weight training, speed training) to stay in shape for the season. I have been playing  baseball since I was 5 years old. I love baseball, there is nowhere I would rather be than on the field. I am always up to a challenge and I continually want to get better. I am very coachable and I love learning new things not only in baseball, but in life. I enjoy playing for fun but I do have a competitive edge on the field. I like being a leader, on the field and off and I think I would bring great leadership and support to any team. Academics are crucial to my success, I am very dedicated to my school work and spend most of my time, if I`m not working out or playing baseball, studying. I have taken AP classes throughout high school, including Science, Chemistry, Physics and English and take all other classes at an academic level. It would be great to go to a Division 1 or 2 school that offers mechanical and/or automotive engineering or a highly accredited business program. However, I am keeping my options open. I have no preferences regarding location, or type of school at this time. I want to go to a school with a great atmosphere which includes a strong academic structure and baseball.
