Bligh Williams '11 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Bligh Williams and my hometown is Toronto, Canada. I did say CANADA and yes we do play baseball up here in the great white north. I am 6'0" tall and 165 lbs. I am an outfielder (mainly centerfield) with good speed and a strong and accurate throwing arm. I love the game of baseball and spend time honing my skills. I do however play other sports at my high school like soccer, volleyball, and basketball. My baseball team finished first in the City of Toronto and third in the province of Ontario in 2010. I do well in school academically with a current 3.93 GPA. I was accepted into the BEAP program (Birchmount Exceptional Athlete Program) throughout my entire highschool grades. Being in BEAP ensures that I do physical training at least 4 times per week. I am also a mentor of various school clubs and a mentor to students in younger grades. Attending University and playing baseball has always been a goal of mine and I truly believe that with my talent and work ethics I can attain that goal. The geographic location of the college is not of utmost importance, but I would prefer an urban/suburban college with a good business program.
