December 2016Personal Statement
"Height doesn 't measure Heart"-that's 5' 8 " Blue Jays reliever Marcus Stroman's moto. I firmly believe this since I am not a big guy!! I make-up for it by being quick. energetic and eager to learn!!
My high school doesn't have a baseball team but when I'm not playing for my summer team in Buffalo, I help coach my younger cousin's team.
I also love to play tennis-winning many tournaments and currently #5 in Ontario for high school players(earning me MVP 3 years straight in my school).
I volunteer regularly as a ballboy and tournament helper at my tennis club-while delivering newspapers and working at a nearby take-out restaurant.
Someday, I would love to have a career in the sports field, since it has played such a big part of my life and I enjoy it very much!!
