Logan Moss '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Logan Moss.  I am a 6'0 160 lb left handed hitter, who throws right handed and plays MIF and 3rd base.  I play baseball and attend Olentangy Orange (D1) High School.  I have had a passion for baseball and have been playing all my life.  Since I was a small kid, I have had dreams about becoming a college athlete.  To me, there is nothing I enjoy more than being on the field with my teammates competing.

Last season with my travel team, I had a .405 batting average, 1 triple, 9 doubles, 15 stolen bases, and 24 BB.  I was our lead off batter and lead the team with a .527 OBP.   I was selected to play with the Under Armour National team as well as the USA Baseball National team identification series in Cary, NC.  I have been selected twice for our fall all star team.

I am undecided on my major at this time but I am thinking about entering the sports administration, management, trainer field.  I am also planning to continue my baseball career at the collegiate level.  For me, balancing academics and baseball is key.  So, when making a decision on a school, I will be searching for a place where academic standards are great coupled with a great baseball tradition.

Going forward in my sophomore through senior year in high school and travel baseball, I plan to continue to work hard, get stronger, and help my teammates and coaches have successful seasons.

I feel very blessed to be able to do what I love and that's play baseball, I am also blessed with great support from my parents, family, teammates, and coaches.
