Personal Statement

My goals and aspirations for college are to continue to work hard, both on and off the field, to become a better student- athlete and trustworthy peer.  I spend many hours each week working on my own to become a better hitter, fielder, and all-around player.  I feel that natural talent will take you only so far in anything you do.  Dedication, hard work, and the willingness to learn from others is just as important as the natural talent that so many athletes have been given.  My goal is to always apply these principles in all areas of my life. I strive to be a positive role model to the under classmen; anything they might need help with regarding their fielding, swing, or even school studies I am willing to help.  I am eager to assist them in whatever capacity is needed.  Off the field, I believe is just as important as on the field.  Keeping myself around the right crowd and staying out of conflict and trouble is what I strive to do.  My name and reputation are very important to my family as well as myself, and I plan to keep it as clean and respectable as possible at all times.  With these intellectual abilities and leadership skills, I believe I can be an asset to a team at the college level.  In addition, I always work hard to maintain an above average GPA and do not plan to change this while attending college.  In summary, my goals for baseball at the college level are to be the player that is known  as the team-mate that is consistently learning and getting better, and the athlete with the reputation of someone that always gives 100 percent on an off the field.  I will continue to strive to be the player that is always working to be a better player and a major asset to the team.  Academically I will continue to be the best student I can be in working  towards the goal of entering law school after completing college.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
