Jeffrey Williams '17 Recruiting Profile

Although I am undecided as to what field of study I would like to pursue, I know I desire to earn a college education to continue to develop a solid foundation for my future.  I am currently attending a rigorous college prep school which continually exposes me to opportunities for the future through visits to college campuses, cultural events, and even some travel abroad.  Each experience will help guide my decision as to what path I will choose to take after high school.

I would make a good candidate because I have a passion for the game, dedication to continually improve, I am coachable, and a team player.  I am willing to do what is asked of me and will do my best in whatever role I am given.  This has allowed me to develop into a versatile player.  In fact, this past season, I played 7 of the 9 positions for my varsity team.

I strive to be a positive role model and leader.  I often teach and encourage players with less experience or who are younger, so they can develop their skills and enjoy the game of baseball as much as I do.  Because I have always been smaller than most of the other players, I have always had to work harder to be recognized for my ability on the field.  Even when I may achieve success, I do not rest on that success, but continue to work hard to improve and learn even more.  I have been consistently improving and developing academically and appreciate the challenges that I have been faced with at Epiphany.
