Having a mildly Autistic big brother who wished he had half the athletic ability to compete in any sport and myself being born a preemie, encourages me to be successful with hopes that the success will not only benefit me but, him and others in my life; so at a young age, I made the decision to play baseball at the collegiate level and to better market myself I learned to play all positions on the baseball field competently, some more so than others, but as I became older I started to specialize a little more, particularly as an outfielder. However, I fully understand that this is a once and a lifetime opportunity and that there is a lot of hard work and dedication that goes into the process. I am a very competitive player and I am very coachable. I am always interested in learning something new and I am always giving my family, teachers, teammates, and coaches my very best; I strive to be a team leader that leads by example and encourages all those around me not only in the classroom but also on the playing field. As an Advance Placement and Honor student I work hard at keeping my GPA at its' highest level. I am very involved in other extracurricular activities outside of baseball such as, the drama club, art, business, technology, student government, and a volunteer at the local cancer center, and with my church's youth program. I want to attend a college that will provide me with an amazing life experience not only in baseball but in the classroom. I am open to all options. I hope to find a university or college that will fit my needs. Thank you for your time and consideration.
