My name is Zach Jarrett from Hickory, NC and I am a 6'3" infielder/pitcher. I have played multiple sports all my life, but my love for baseball has kept me on the diamond spring, summer, and fall for the past six years. I am comfortable and have experience at all infield positions; currently, I am the starting third baseman for my varsity high school team and play shortstop and third for my club team. I am told I am a natural leader and have a tremendous work ethic, so I find myself captain of many of my teams and enjoy leading my teammates.
I am interested in universities in the southeast, but open to all opportunities where I can make an early impact on a team. I carry a 4.5 GPA and a challenging academic load, therefore the academic climate of the school is important to me as well. However, I am undecided on what field of study I will pursue.
