Currently just finished my Sophomore (RS) year at Brunswick Community College in Supply, North Carolina. Our Team went 40-14 overall, and was ranked all season in the NJCAA National polls between #9-#14. My greatest asset to our team has been my dedication to the game of baseball; being a team leader through example by working hard at practice and always supporting my teammates on and off the field. Finished the season with BA .310, OBP .455, and was awarded again the distinction of 1st Team Academic All-American.
During the 2016 Spring season at Brunswick Community College, our team went 42-18 overall, won the Southeastern District, and went on to the NJCAA Division II World Series in Enid, Oklahoma, where we went to the 4th round of the World Series. Individually, I was awarded the prestigious "Pinnacle" 1st Team Academic All-American award by the NJCAA.
High School:
Recently in 2016, Montini Catholic HS celebrated it's 50 year anniversary. During the anniversary year, the baseball program published the all-time leaders, and my name was listed in many of the offensive categories.
One of the most rewarding things that I do off the field is my role as President of the S.A.C.S.N. Network-Montini Chapter; where Frank Torre has guided us at S.A.C.S.N. in giving back to our communities. One of my rewarding projects as the President was the Equipment Drive that we put together for the "Roberto's Kids" foundation; where I was able to organize a very large "gently used" baseball equipment drive for little league kids in Puerto Rico.
I believe I bring many great things to a team. I am a leader, and I am continuously working to get better. I believe that there is always room for improvement in my game either physically or mentally. I take criticism well and strive to be that better player. I always give 100%. I am a Team player. With the past 15 years of baseball experiences; whether playing for USA Baseball's 13U National Stars Red team in 2009, or in the USA Baseball's 14U and 16U East Coast Championships with the Florida Red Sox in the summers of 2010, 2011; the "Elite Eight" State of Illinois HS Championships 2012 or the Team International "Open Ages" team in the Prague, Czech Republic Baseball Tournament of 2012...all of those experiences have helped develop my desire and mentality of playing baseball at the highest level.
I am looking forward to playing at the next level.
