Myles Felton '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Myles Felton. I am a Senior at Thomas R Proctor High School located in Utica, NY. 

When I first started playing baseball, I was not very good. I had to put in a lot of hard work in order to become the player that I am. The person that inspired me the most is my father. He may not have known everything about this sport, he always encouraged me and pushed me to work hard to get better. He would take me out and hit balls to me, play catch with me and also throw batting practice to me. He has taught me to strive to be the best I can be and to never give up and be confident in my abilities. He, also with my mom always came to support me at my games. Baseball has become very important to me. It is a big part of my life and I spend a lot of time playing. This sport has taught me to prioritize my time wisely, taught me self confidence and how to be a team player. It has taught me to have respect for others and as well as be an example and be a role model to others.

My parents have taught me that the most important thing in life is a to get a good education and work hard to achieve what I want in life. Having the opportunity to play baseball at the college level is a my dream as well as a pathway for me to get a great education to pursue a career in Criminal Justice. I have always wanted to be a State Police Officer so that I can help and serve people. I know that I will set a good example for my community.
