My goal is to play college baseball for a strong competitive program that will help me get to my full potential. I am a unique player due to the fact that I will out work anyone. I may not be the most athletically gifted, but through hard work I have gotten better and I will continue to get better. Over the past year I have learned how to be as mentally tough as anyone on the mound due to the not so great high school team I play on. I am also one of the most coachable players you will ever have because I am 100% willing to learn more about the game and get better everyday.
My college decision will depend a lot on what type of academics a college offers, because getting a good job out of college is my ultimate goal. I am a well above average student due to my class load and GPA, I have maintained a GPA in the low 90s while taking several AP and college classes. I am in National Honor Society and I have received other various academic awards. I am very certain that I want to be a business major, so a college with a extremely strong business program would fit me perfectly.
I started playing baseball when I was 13 and I have improved greatly every year whether its fielding, pitching, baserunning or hitting. I have worked hard enough to get myself on to a very competitive summer team. I play for the Saratoga Stampede(17U) in the summer and I have proved myself enough to my coaches to make the starting rotation as a #1 or #2 starter. I have played 3 seasons on my school's varsity team and next season will be my 4th season. Although our high school has never been very good, I was named captain as a junior and led my team in all pitching stats as well as most of the hitting stats. I received 1st team all- conference my sophomore and junior seasons of high school ball. During the offseason I do crossfit training and during the season I try my best to keep a consistent workout regimen to keep myself in good shape. After I pitch I always run 2-3 miles to make sure my arm stays in good shape.
I will do whatever I can to make your program better, if you have any interest in me please do not hesitate to contact me.
