My name is Jonathon Pena and I'm from Albuquerque, NM. I'm 6'4", 200 lbs and I play 1st and 3rd. I play summer ball for New Mexico Elite playing local tournaments and traveling to tournaments around the Southwest, Colorado and California. I have been seriously pursuing baseball for about 4 years now I've learned a lot in the last 4 years. I have played for my high school with great enthusiasm and effort. I love everything about the game of baseball from the team spirit, the individual excellence and the focus and precision needed to play well. I want to continue playing at the next level because I really enjoy playing baseball and I think it enriches my life and opens doors to new opportunities. Despite my lack of experience, I have come a long way. I work really hard to overcome any obstacles in my path. I'm the hardest working person, first at the field and last to leave. I aim to learn as much as I can and become the best player and person I can be on the field and off the field. I realize what it means to be a student athlete and I continue to take rigorous classes and work to improve my GPA. I want to get my college degree in Engineering or Business. Baseball will always be a part of my life.
