Mark Romeo '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Mark Romeo and I am a rising Senior at Westwood Regional Junior/Senior High School. In college, I want to study Marine Biology. This began with Discovery Channel's Shark week  -  it sparked an interest in marine life and has left me wanting more. While I may not always enjoy the school work I have to do,  I do enjoy learning. This approach to my interest in marine biology, and academics as a whole, is directly translatable to baseball in the sense of my work ethic. I've been playing baseball my entire life, my love of the game is the reason I strive to be the best I can be in the game. I'm happy to work as hard as I have to in order to succeed. In fact, I love a challenge, I enjoy the competition (even if its with myself) and will never shy away from hard work or any obstacle that gets in my way. This is my approach to all aspects of my life: sports, school, family and friends - just because something is hard doesn't mean I should quit, it means I should work harder until its easy.
