My collegiate goals and aspirations is to get a scholarship for pitching and to study Chemical Engineer, and perhaps get my doctorate.
I have played baseball for the last 10 years. I eat, sleep and breathe baseball 24/7. I have played on league teams, many travel teams (Willy Banks Travel team) and of course school teams. My main position is pitcher. I can throw four pitches and I am extremely accurate. I have been training under Mark Leiter Sr. for the 5 years. I received an award my freshman from my high school for being the "JV pitcher of the year". I pitched as a freshman on my varsity team on a couple of occasions. I also play 1st base. One of the main attributes I bring to the team is that I can play both positions without any problem. I have been asked to relieve, sometimes, in the worst situations and I'm usually successful. I have also started on the mound many times. I have shown leadership qualities just by showing the coaches, teammates, umpires and my opponents respect. I try to always to be humble and not to showboat. I get on the players that are fooling around and get them to get their heads back on the game. I get on my teammates to by on time for practices, stretching, and drills. I am a very good motivator at all times. A Never Give Up Attitude is what I'm about.
I am soft spoken but can command my teammates attention when I need to . My teammates know that they can come to me with any sort of problem...For instance one of my teammates father had passed away and I told he that I was here for him, if you needed someone to confide in. I also checked up on him to make sure that he did go to practices and keep up his instruction. I didn't want him to get into a depression. I also have, for the last three years, have worked with an organization called SPUR...Special People United to Ride. Which is a Therapeutic Riding Program for children, adults, and are returning wounded warriors. I raise donations for scholarships, which to families that could not afford this program. Throughout the years, I raised $2,000 and I started my campaign for 2014 .
