Nick Sale '16 Recruiting Profile

As a student, my goals and aspirations are to do well in college while gaining valuable life experience. As an athlete I strive to perform at a high level while being an excellent teammate.  I have learned what teamwork is all about: there is no “I” in team. It seems corny, but the only “I” that I know is what I have to do to make the team do well, and to perform 110% of the time. What makes me stand out from some of my teammates is that I hardly ever let my emotions effect the way I play. For example, if I were to strike out, I don’t reflect on it for the rest of the game.  I have the ability to turn the page. Furthermore, I like to keep my teammates motivated, focused and help them get back on track. Academically, I can achieve all A’s when I put my nose to the grindstone. Being only human, I have had a few hiccups here and there, but always end up back on track. I am looking forward to being an integral part of a college community, and contributing in every way that I can.  After college I look forward to having a good job and a family.
