Baseball has been a part of my life since I was four years old when my Dad, who played until his career ended with the St. Louis Cardinals, signed me up for coach pitch ball and I have never looked back. Baseball is a part of me and I strive to play at the collegiate level. I am looking to attend a University where I can earn a degree in Accounting and play baseball for a supportive and challenging program that will further my abilities as a player. I have had to deal with several adversities in my life since I began playing baseball and giving up or quitting were never an option for me. Facing these adversities head on has helped me grow as a young man and prepare me for life’s challenges.
My family was relocated from Florida to New Jersey just prior to entering High School. Coming into a new school and program was challenging, however I was able to establish myself as one of the top pitchers in a very strong program. Our team finished 20-3 and we capped off an amazing season by winning the Jurgensen Memorial Tournament for the first time in the school’s history. I was honored to be chosen as the starting pitcher for the championship game and one of my most memorable moments from that tournament was when I threw a no hitter in the quarter finals.
