My name is James Werosta and I am part of the Class of 2016 at The Hun School of Princeton, in Princeton, NJ. My GPA is a 3.8 with a very challenging schedule since freshman year, my two-part SAT score is a 1320, and my ACT score is a 31. I have also recently been nominated to represent my school at The Governor's School of Engineering and Technology this summer. Only one student from each high school's junior class in New Jersey is nominated. As a sophomore on Varsity last season, I was named to the New Jersey All-Prep 2nd Team for pitching, and was also named to the MAPL All-Academic Baseball Team.
My goal is to attend a college/university with a very strong engineering program, where I can also play baseball. Baseball has always played an important role in my life, and I would like to continue at the next level. I want to be able to challenge myself both academically and athletically at the highest level possible. Although I primarily focus on pitching and 3rd base, I have also played catcher and am considered a utility player as I can also play anywhere else including outfield when needed.
