Zharrae Vaughn '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Zharrae Vaughn and I live in a small town named Plainfield, NJ. I'm a 5'11, 180lbs athlete who desires to play baseball in college.  I have loved baseball since I was 5 years old.  I'm a very focused young man, who dosen't give up, no matter how tough the circumstances look.  I've always been known as a hard worker.  My parents taught me to never expect hand outs.  I'm the type of player that the equipment, field and/or weather have no impact on my effort.  What I can control is me.  And what I give is 100% - all the time.  I am relentless.  What sets me apart from other recruits in character, athletics, and academics is that I am grateful for every opportunity, and I strive to make the best of every situation because tomorrow isn't promised.  My dad says "do what you are supposed to do, so you can do what you want to do."  Well, I want to succeed, so everyday I commit to doing what it takes to make that happen.
