I hope to attend a four year school, study exercise science\physical therapy and nutrition , and pursue a career as a physical therapist or athletic trainer once I graduate college. Science is by far my favorite subject in school and the study of how to help people heal from injuries has always intrigued me. The knowledge that I learn directly from exercise science would help me in my lifestyle habits in many ways such as working out, learning how to prevent injuries, and being in top physical shape. In regards to a school, I would like to be in a medium or large sized campus and have a strong sense of spirit and pride. In addition, a school that has a lot of diversity is important to me because everyone has different perspectives of life and, as an individual I can learn from others and enrich myself as an individual.
I’ve been playing baseball ever since I was 3 years old and have loved every minute of it. I have always had a strong work ethic and would always put in extra time and work to better my game. Always after practice, my dad would hit me extra fly balls and give me extra batting practice because I always wanted to improve. I work out 5 days a week with weights, bands, and I run every other day to stay conditioned and keep my body strong. I am always studying the game whether it’s watching it on TV or analyzing film on the internet. Every time I step onto a field, I am poised to give it my all and I give 100% of myself at every practice and game. As a teammate, I strive to be supportive, encouraging, and always optimistic; positivity is what attains results.
I take pride in everything that I do. Whether it is in the classroom, in the weight room, or out on the field, I try to act as a leader should. As a player, I am a good learner and listen to all my coaches and believe they are necessary assets to this game. I am an outgoing and competitive individual that can bring a lot of positives to a team.
