I am totally committed to both furthering my education and continuing to play baseball at a higher level. I also want to continue to develop both as a person and a player. From an educational standpoint I fully understand the importance of focusing on my studies which I have done through high school and will continue to do to give myself more opportunities as an adult.
My dad passed along the passion of baseball to me from a young age and the understanding of the hard work and focus it takes to truly be successful. From a young age my coaches helped me to understand the importance of being versatile and working on skills at several positions which I have done throughout my baseball career to give me more opportunity (pitching, catching, all infield and outfield positions) and I am skilled at all positions. Getting closer to college I really started to focus heavily on the middle infield but will bring skills at any position needed to help my team win. I always strive for complete focus on the field on defense, quality at bats, supporting my teammates and representing my school. I have great respect for the game of baseball, my coaches, my teammates, umpires and fans. And I truly respect my parents for supporting me with everything along the way. I would love nothing more than to play baseball at the collegiate level and I will compete every pitch for my team.
