Tyler Mathys '15 Recruiting Profile

My dream is of course to someday play in the big leagues.  The goals that I set everyday is baseball related so that someday I will make it in the Majors.  Whether it is hitting, fielding, throwing, or just watching film, every day I am doing something baseball.  My aspirations are not like most baseball players my age.  To me it does not matter what the score is, what matters to me is how much effort I am putting in to helping my team win. Championships don't matter to me as much as they did when I was a little kid, right now I try to be the best player there is.  I try to hit, field, and throw everyday, because I like to think in my head how many kids that are my age are doing what I am doing right now.  The thought that somebody might be better than me drives me to work that much harder.
