Jacob Stoker '18 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jacob Stoker and it is my dream to play collegiate baseball. I am a 5’ 11” 154 pound UTIL, catcher, and pitcher. I am in my Junior year in high school and have been home schooled since I was in 7th grade. My GPA is 3.94 with my best subjects being math and science. Currently my intended major is engineering. 

Since I was four, I knew baseball was the sport for me and I’ve been working on my skills ever since. Although I thrive at shortstop, I am willing and able to play any position. Due to my love and knowledge of the game, some of my baseball qualities are confidence, accuracy, efficiency, decisiveness and passion for the game. I’m always thinking one play ahead with a high level of mental and physical energy. My goal is to be an example both on and off the field through attitude, encouragement, and willingness to help out whenever or wherever needed. The Lord has blessed me and I want to use my skills I have been given in baseball. I strive to play at the highest competitive level as possible, for instance, filling in for the varsity team when needed.
