Hello, I am Shane Benson. I am a senior at St. Francis High School, in St Francis MN. I have been playing baseball for as long as I can remember. It has always been a game that has peaked my interest and one that I would like to continue to play. I have recently needed to pitch more because of a team need and have excelled and enjoyed it. Baseball is a sport that drives me to get better and not settle.
It has also taught me how to carry myself so children who watch me play can look up to me, like I looked up to players that I grew up watching. School and baseball are my focus this year. It is now the only sport I play. In the off-season, I try to get into a cage and hit at least 3-4 times a week. I look forward to continuing my education and playing baseball along the way.
