Personal Statement

At a very young age baseball was my passion, and to this day that passion still remains. From playing wiffle ball in my front yard to attending amateur baseball games much of my life has been centered around baseball. Over the years, my father and I have attended many of the Sobieski Ski games, our favorite amateur team. This past year I was drafted by them which has been such a great opportunity. This experience has been crucial to me developing as a baseball player. All 17 of the guys on the team have played baseball at the Division 1, 2, or 3 levels other than those still in high school. With that being said I have learned that hard work and determination will allow me to pursue my dreams of becoming a college baseball player. I can assure you that I will always put my best foot forward and do anything it takes to make the team better. Often, I stay after practice or work on certain aspects of the game during my free time, to better improve my skills. The way I look at it, is that I never want to be that person that looks back knowing I could have done more. I will always go the extra mile to assure myself that my dreams can become a reality. It is my hope to bring a committed, hard working, and positive attitude to your team. Furthermore, I have a leaders mentality and will do anything it takes to not only better your team, but also win games.
