I feel very confident in my abilities and to continue to improve in not only baseball but academically. My high school (Detroit Catholic Central) is one of the top academic institutions in the State of Michigan. DCC as a Div 1 High School is competitive annuallly in all sports on all levels including academics. For example, DCC has just won the 2015 "academic" National Championship, and was voted the number one boys sports program in the country by USA Today.
The prospect of playing the game I love at the collegiate level is major inspiration for me to improve on the field and in the classroom. I would like to continue my education at an institution where I can push myself both physically and mentally. My dreams are to play baseball at the highest level I can. My goal is to get the best education I can, and my aspirations are to be the best person I can be.
