Personal Statement

Hello,

My name is Garrett Yurkins, I am a Senior at Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School - Class of 2015. Home of the 2013 State Champs and we made it to the top 4 last year. I am primarily a second baseman, but I can also play shortstop and outfield. I am 5'11'' and weigh 185 lbs. Currently working 2 days a week, going for strength and conditioning and batting at the cages regularly.

I am looking to attend a school where I will have the opportunity to play as a Freshmen. I feel that I have the ability to help a program succeed and my main goal is to attend a division 1 school. In big games I want to be that guy to drive in the go-ahead run, and that every player can depend on, on and off the field. I am open to several types of schools.
