Personal Statement

Since I was 5 baseball has always been a passion of mine. I love every aspect of the game and I have worked hard over the years to be able to  have the opportunity to play college baseball at the highest level possible.

I am a team player, not only in sports, but also in my family, church and community. I work hard on the field and in the classroom. My education is important to me. In high school, I was dual enrolled in AP, Honors and college classes and a member of  the National Honor Society. I graduated high school in the top five percent of my class with a 4.0 GPA.

In high school I was a two sport athlete and the starting first baseman on Varsity since my sophomore year. In my senior year, I led my team with a .444 batting average to a 3A Maryland State Championship.  I have always played on teams where I am the youngest member to insure that I would always push myself to be the best player possible. In past summers, I have played with 18 to 22 year old top college recruits for the Edward W. Brooks Collegiate Baseball League and the Southern Maryland Sting (Rob Kidwell-Select travel coach for the Southern Maryland Sting).

I am a first generation college student currently enrolled at the College of Southern Maryland where I am the starting first baseman and lead all offensive categories.  I am looking to continue my education at a college where I can continue to pursue my degree in business and be a contributing factor to my team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
