My dream is to play college baseball. I am able to play every position on the field which makes me an asset to any team. I am a Senior this year and my goal for this season is to be a regular starter. I was a starter for my High School team (playing in right field). I hope to do some pitching. I have the same goal for when I am playing Varsity starting next year. My JV baseball season ended on 4/23/13, I have helped my team by pitching and playing the outfield.
Once I make Varsity, I hope to help lead my team to a State Championship. Another goal I have is to make All-County/All-State for my High School team at the Varsity level.
I attended a football combine in May of 2014, here are my statistics:
40 yard dash= 5.0
Broad jump= 8'3"
Pro agility= 4.9
At the end of summer work outs for football we test in 5 disciplines:
40 yard dash= 4.84
10 yard dash=1.65
Pro agility= 4.68 (3 cones are spaced 5 yards apart from one another, start at the middle cone, run to the right cone, run through the middle cone to the far cone, and finish through the middle cone.)
Vertical leap= 29"
300 yard shuttle= 55 seconds (start at the goal line of a football field, run 25 yards down and back 6 times, down and back= 1)
I had a goal of becoming a Knightmare. I have since achieved that goal. A Knightmare is a status of a players hard work throughout the summer. To be eligible I had to participate in 32 or more workouts throughout the summer.
To become a Knightmare:
-Squat and power clean 1 rep of 80% of your max within 1 minute for 48 minutes. (My weights were Squat=180, Power Clean=120)
-Flip a Tractor tire 50 yards.
-Push a 300 pound sled 50 yards and then pull it 50 yards.
-And sprint 50 yards in under 10 seconds.
I had to do all of that in under 1 hour and 30 minutes.
I currently bench press 250 and squat 275.
