Maceo Carter-Ways '16 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I first started playing baseball when I was 8 years old, all I wanted to do is play at the highest level.I am a true student of the game. I watch as much baseball as possible. My family even makes fun of me for watching spring training MLB games, but I believe that the only way I will improve is to work hard and study as much baseball as possible. I am currently a rising senior and have played on my school's Varsity team since my freshman season.I have played on several different teams, and am currently playing RBI over the summer. I play shortstop, 2nd base and I pitch. I have also played catcher, but I'm open to learn any position a coach needs me to play. I feel like if I put the work in year round I can be a great baseball player. I strive to be great; I don't like being second, and I hate losing. I do whatever my team needs me to do. I believe that I will be a great addition to any college's roster.
